Flat out love6/23/2023 I said I have two questions has it spread, and am I gonna die? They said they didn’t think it had spread and I wasn’t going to die. Immediately after diagnosis, they took me into a room where I met my nurse navigator or “boobie babysitter” as I so lovingly called her. There is no breast cancer history in my family or in my genetic testing. I was in an MS drug study for three years before that and it carried a side effect of skin cancer so there’s a 90% chance that’s how I got my breast cancer. Fast forward 14 years, almost to the month, I was diagnosed with stage 2 IDC Breast Cancer. In March 2000, I went paralyzed on my entire left side and after many tests, I found out that I have MS. High, I’m Sears, and at 16 years old I came out, and as a friend always said, there wasn’t enough room for me and my shoes in my closet! So yes, this is my second glorious mullet, it’s just pink this time!
